Remember those who fought for our freedom and those who proudly serve. Have a Happy Independence Day! #IndependenceDay #FourthofJuly #America #AirForceReserve #USAirForceReserve
FROM THE COMMANDER: Citizen Air Commandos of the 919th SOW, As we celebrate the anniversary of the birth of our nation, let us also give thanks to those who bravely serve our country. We are especially indebted to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice fighting for and preserving our freedoms. Their families and friends will always have the biggest burden to bear. Each of you and your families are honoring their memories by protecting America's interests at home and abroad. It's with tremendous pride and honor that the country thanks you for your service and sacrifice this Independence Day. Your actions have protected and given hope to those in need when their freedoms have been threatened. Let us recommit ourselves to doing all we can to ensure generations that follow will enjoy the freedoms we do as Americans today. Thank you again for what you do. I wish each of you a blessed and safe 4th of July! Col Les Bradfield
It is the responsibility of all Duke Field personnel: #SeeSomethingSaySomething
Master Sgt. Carl Pizzo, 919th Special Operation Wing Safety Office, added another Air Force Achievement Medal to his ribbon rack recently. Col. Les Bradfield, 919 SOW commander, recognized Sergeant Pizzo in front of his fellow Citizen Air Commandos for his exceptional work. Great job sir!
This is how we roll!
Capt. Julie Farrand, 919th Special Operations Logistics Readiness Squadron, was recognized by Col. Les Bradfield, 919th SOW commander, with an Air Force Achievement Medal recently. Nice job ma'am. Keep up the great work! #QuietProfessionals #CitizenAirCommandos
Our Aircrew Flight Equipment experts are among the best at what they do! Airman 1st Class Stephen Lowmiller is a prime example of how we're always training new talent to support special operations missions at home and around the globe!
Mr. Virgil Poulsen, 919th SOW Process Manager, participated in this week's Health Fair at Duke Field. The initiative was sponsored by the Air Force Health Promotion Office at Eglin AFB to increase awareness of the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. We're working hard towards this every day--believe it!
Shout out to the 1st Special Operations Wing! This photo of a recent AC-130U Spooky Gunship mission made the Air Force Week in Photos. Nice to see our fellow Air Commandos doing what they do best!
