Security forces protect local bases
A 96th Security Forces Squadron Airman moves toward a barrier during a shoot, move and communicate drill at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. The mandatory training requirement is in addition to annual weapons qualification training. The exercise consists of Airmen firing simmunition ammo while advancing toward, away from and to the side of a target. This is followed by a building sweep and clear drill. Eglin’s security forces personnel protect and defend the main base, facilities, gates, Duke Field, 7th SFG compound and land and water ranges. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Sam King)
