Single service members, National Guard and Reservists can now rent base housing on base.

As part of a new policy by Corvias Military Living, the military housing privatization contractor, homes located here can be rented by single active duty, National Guard and Reservists.  Married guardsmen and reservists can also rent the new homes.

There are a variety of different homes and locations to choose from, according to Corvias.

Now an unaccompanied service member, National Guard or Reservist can experience living in close proximity to on-base amenities such as the commissary, BX and fitness centers. In addition to saving money on utilities which are included in rent, they will also have the opportunity to move in to select models for free.

The Air Force selected Corvias Military Living to privatize housing after a competitive solicitation process led by the Air Force Civil Engineer Center. The company is responsible for the construction, renovation, maintenance and management of Eglin's military family housing for the next 50 years.
