Commander's holiday message

To the Men and Women of Duke & Hurlburt Field

As we finish this year and look forward to the next one, I want to let the Air Commandos, Citizen Airmen, civilians and families know how much I appreciate your outstanding contributions and commitment to what we do.

The key message I want to share with you is what is happening at Duke & Hurlburt Field is important for the security of our country. Our nation needs good people to do this work so please stay the course and know that you are making a difference in the lives of so many here at home and around the globe.

Continue to be a Wingman to all on our team. The holiday season, ongoing fiscal constraints and an increased emphasis on readiness can be stressful for even the most battle-hardened warriors and our families.

We're pushing hard right now so please look out for each other and don't hesitate to say so if you or a Wingman needs help. We are stronger together especially when we are helping cover each other's blind spots.

Thank you again for your service and dedication. I wish each of you and your families the very best during the holiday season and look forward to a great year ahead in 2018!

Col Les Bradfield
