Red carpet arrival
A crew chief prepares a CV-22 Osprey, getting ready to be flown by Lt. Gen. Michael Wooley, Air Force Special Operations Wing commander, for flight from Duke Field, Fla. to its welcoming ceremony at Hurlburt Field, Fla. Nov. 16. ORI validates wing's readiness
Senior Master Sgt. Thomas Mason, 711th Special Operations Squadron loadmaster, performs static load training with a special operations team for rapid infiltration. The training is required before an actual mission so that both the team and aircrew members are familiar with their positions and responsibilities through each phase of the mission. The training, which took place during the Operational Readiness Inspection here, is a night-vision goggle operation.
