From combat training to weapons inspections, 307th SFS earns high praise

U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Michael Roberts, Air Force Reserve Command Security Forces senior enlisted leader, addresses the 307th SFS at Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana, Sept. 6, 2025. Roberts fielded questions regarding future operations and coined four members of the unit. Roberts recognized Tech. Sgt. Christopher Shavers and Staff Sgt. Anna Schoen efforts in bringing the unit’s M18 Modular Handgun Systems back into service, making it one of the first to so in AFRC after the recent pause in use. He also thanked Tech. Sgt. Anfernee Morgan and Staff Sgt. Gage Babbs for volunteering as Integrated Defense Leadership Course cadre. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Master Sgt. Ted Daigle)
