Duke Field closes as winter storm precaution

DUKE FIELD, Fla. -- Due to inclement weather, Duke Field will be closed for all non-essential military and civilian personnel from 1 p.m. Jan. 28 thru noon Jan 29 (subject to change).

Civilian employees will be granted administrative leave for duty hours missed between these dates and times. Civilian employees already in a leave status will remain in that status and will not be coded as administrative leave. All military and civilian personnel should report for duty at noon Jan. 29 or at the start of their normally scheduled duty period thereafter.

All personnel should monitor local television and radio broadcasts and can receive status updates by calling 885-WING (9464).
