A Reserve Air Commando from the 919th Special Operations provide base defense in a simulated chemical attack during a combat readiness exercise at Duke Field, Fla. Combat readiness exercises are designed to prepare soldiers for the physical demands of combat and simulate warfare scenarios and test tactics and strategies in safe environments.
