Volunteers
Airmen from Duke Field and Eglin Air Force Base pose for a group photo with Lucy Harstvedt , an Air Force widow (standing, third from right) and her daughter, Norma Jean Harstvedt, outside the elder Harstvedt’s former home in Shalimar, Fla., April 20. The Airmen responded to a call for volunteers to help Lucy, widowed since 1964, relocate to the nearby Bob Hope Village, as she was unable to conduct the move. Bob Hope Village, a retirement home for surviving spouses of Air Force enlisted members, is part of the overall non-profit Air Force Enlisted Village. Duke volunteers shown are (standing from left): Staff Sgt. Jeremy Bubanas, 711th Special Operations Squadron; Master Sgt. Randall Bell, 919th Maintenance Operaions Flight; and (kneeling, far left) Master Master Sgt. David Hahn, 711th SOS. Eglin volunteers are (standing, beginning third from left): Master Sgt. Angel Frasquillo, Tech. Sgt. Brad Richardson and Staff Sgt. Marcus Capers, all from the 33rd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron; and (kneeling, second from left) Master Sgts. Eli Bolin, 96th Logistics Readiness Squadron, and Mark Rosenblum, 33rd Maintenance Squadron. (U.S. Air Force photo/Dan Neely)
