A stenciled nickname adorns one of the panels inside MC-130E Combat Talon #567 at Gowen Field, Idaho.  The famed “Wild Thing” made its final flight May 7 from Idaho to Hurlburt Field, Fla., to be placed in the Air Force Special Operations Command airpark.  919th Special Operations Wing maintainers from Duke Field, Fla., were sent to Gowen Field to prepare four Talons to take off for one more mission – a flight into retirement and decommissioning.
