Staff Sgt. Ieshia M. Williams, 919th Maintenance Squadron aircraft electro-environmental systems journeyman, runs a "battery" of tests on a new battery in her shop. To ensure optimum performance, each battery is inspected, cleaned and tested for discharge capacity and leakage. She is also responsible for the inspection and maintenance of liquid oxygen bottles, life raft bottles, and all the electrical and environmental systems on an MC-130E Combat Talon I aircraft, such as generators and lighting. Off duty, she is the manager of Floridadelphia Cheesesteak and Hoagie Factory in Panama City, Fla. She is working toward her engineering degree at Gulf Coast Community College and in her spare time enjoys outdoor recreation and playing with her dog. She is this month's Sharp Troop.
