'Surf's up'

DUKE FIELD, Fla. -- From left, Air Force Reserve Tech. Sgts. Jeff March, Mark Wong, and Xavier Salgado, Master Sgt. Joe Dunn, and Tech. Sgts. Teddy Batarao and Forest Webb, all from the 919th Communications Squadron, mentor elementary students by judging their “internet scavenger hunt,” one of many events at Okaloosa County Schools’ 10th-Annual Tech Bowl held recently in the Niceville Community Center. Students were given 30 minutes to surf the Internet to answer 45 questions without using “Wiki” sites or search engine pages. This was the 10th-consective Tech Bowl that Duke Field’s communicators have volunteered their expertise to support the computer-focused technology event. (Courtesy photo)
