Celebrating Black History
DUKE FIELD, Fla. -- Members of the Delta Sigma Theta sorority display their namesake delta signs during a recent step dance performance in the base theater. The free performance was one of many Black History Month celebrations sponsored by the base's African-American Heritage Committee. The event also featured guest speaker Kermit Harrison II, a philosophy instructor from Tallahassee Community College, who spoke on "The Quest for Black Citizenship in the Americas."
