This file photo captures the final flight of the “First Lady,” the first production model AC-130A Gunship, flying over Duke Field Sept. 28, 1995. The “First Lady” arrived on Duke Field in 1975, having already celebrated her 20th anniversary. The wing’s aircraft were retired in 1995 to welcome in the wing’s new MC-130E Combat Talon I and MC-130P Combat Shadow missions. The “First Lady” now rests on the grounds of the Air Force Armament Museum near Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. (U.S. Air Force Photo/Master Sgt. Ricardo Clifton)
