William “Pops” Diaz, a "70-something-year-old" card shark and U. S. Army retiree, plays Texas Hold’em Poker Mondays and Wednesdays at the bowling alley at Fort Meade Md. Each time he’d sit to play, he’d be dressed in a suit along with his lucky poker fedora. It was said he had the best poker face of all of the regular players. Diaz was a boxing champion for the Army while he was active duty. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Jasmin Taylor)
