DUKE FIELD, Fla. -- The 919th Special Operations Wing would like to remind Citizen Air Commandos of the importance of using good hand washing techniques and avoiding handshakes during flu season. While there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 at Duke Field, officials from the wing are doing their best to limit the spread of the virus by taking proactive steps to educate and safeguard its workforce and families.

In addition, senior leaders from the 919th SOW are monitoring daily updates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, World Health Organization and local public health departments. They are also following the latest guidance from the Department of Defense and its recommendations for monitoring and screening individuals.
