As we prepare for the holidays, I’d like to thank you for the numerous sacrifices you and your families have made to support our Air Force and the 919th Special Operations Wing in 2019. The challenges you faced this year were substantial. Yet through it all, your considerable efforts enabled us to maintain our combat readiness while also meeting the needs of the warfighter in so many SOF mission sets around the globe.

The 919th SOW could not effectively accomplish our mission without the unique skills and can-do attitude of our Citizen Air Commandos. Each and every one of you is critical to our success. I encourage you to take some time to reflect on the significance of all you’ve accomplished this year while also thanking your family and friends for their support along the way. None of this happens without you or them!

I am humbled and honored to serve with you. Thank you for all you do, and have a safe and happy holiday season!
