Citizen Air Commandos,

Today we pause in recognition of Labor Day, celebrated on the first Monday of each September in honor of those who comprise the Nation's workforce.

Labor Day has become a national tribute to workers everywhere including those on military installations and serving at locations overseas.

Without your contributions and those of your family, our mission simply doesn't happen.

I hope you all know how much I appreciate the sacrifices all of you make every day to ensure our shared success. Enjoy your well-deserved time off today and know each of you is a big part of this Wing's legacy of valor and the reason why America is the greatest nation on earth!
