Citizen Air Commandos,

This Thanksgiving, my wife, Amanda, and I offer our heartfelt appreciation for your dedication in maintaining the security of our great nation.

Protecting the nation and the freedoms we hold so dear is not without sacrifice. Time away from family, long hours and duty at some of the most austere locations imaginable are costs we know all too well. Yet you and your families continue to answer the nation’s call.

America is blessed to have such talented and dedicated men and women holding the line against those who wish to do us harm.

As you prepare for the holidays, please plan ahead and stay alert during your travels. Most of all, enjoy the time with family and friends that all of you have most definitely earned and deserve, and return ready for the challenges that lie ahead.

I extend my warmest wishes to you and your families for a wonderful Thanksgiving!
