Lt. Col. Tom Miller, of the 919th Special Operations Wing, executes his preflight checks before piloting the MC-130E Combat Talon I, 64-0523 “Godfather” on its final flight June 22 at Duke Field, Fla. The final flight landed at Cannon Air Force Base, N.M., where 0523 is scheduled to be a static display at the base’s airpark.
