Marsville 2009
Fifth-grade students from three area elementary schools, along with teachers and volunteers, transform Duke Field's fuel cell hangar into Marsville, a conceptual Martian colony. Held at Eglin Air Force Base the past 14 years, the 919th SOW answered the call when hangar space there was temporarily unavailable. The educational event challenges students' creativity and intellect in solving problems associated with establishing a Martian colony with limited resources. (U.S. Air Force photo/Dan Neely)
