Security forces protect local bases

M-4 rifles sit ready for use by 96th Security Forces Squadron Airmen prior to a shoot, move and communicate drill at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. The mandatory training requirement is in addition to annual weapons qualification training. The exercise consists of Airmen firing simmunition ammo while advancing toward, away from and to the side of a target. This is followed by a building sweep and clear drill.
